No doubt, I'm a clumsy writer! But this blog is not about literature and grammar, it is to share my artistic and professional experiences and projects; past and future. So I'll do my best to get better at it, but understand that its meaning goes far behind. (Ok this last sentence lost me too!)
Hello and welcome to the Wättssoul platform! I am "Gi" president of Wättssoul. I started my career as a Circus artist. I learn the foundation of this art style at the Annie Fratellini circus school in Paris back in 1995. After 3 years of intensive traditional training, I spent nearly 5 years at the E.N.A.C.R (National Circus School Art of Rosny) and at the C.N.A.C. (Circus Art National Center) where I specialized in Russian swing and hand to hand/Banquin as well as being in touch with many other art forms. After that I worked mostly with dance companies! Mainly D.C.A. (Philippe Decouflé) and Les Ballets C. de la B. (Koen Augustijnen, Alain Platel). In 2006 I moved to Las Vegas where I'm currently working for Cirque du Soleil in the Beatles "Love" show. I share my time off between my family and the development of Wättssoul...
Inspired is how I feel every time I have a chance to look at Michael Moloi's creations.
Michael is a dear friend of mine and I can say that I feel lucky to have the chance to share the stage with him every night. I could go on and on about his talent as a Gumboots and Pantsula dancer, but today I want to reveal one of his other sides, Naledi Design.
